WEEKLY ACTIVITIES


The Grace de Dieu Animation Center in Caen offers workshops throughout the year for children, teenagers and adults.

Hip-hop dance, children’s yoga, adult yoga, sophrology and Pilates: each activity offers an opportunity to discover, progress, express yourself and take care of yourself in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Open to different ages and levels, these workshops promote well-being, creativity, self-confidence and connection at the heart of the Grâce de Dieu neighbourhood.

Hip-Hop Dance

Annual workshop

Come and discover the dynamic and creative world of hip-hop in Caen through an annual workshop adapted to each age group. This activity allows participants to learn the basics of hip-hop dance, develop their sense of rhythm, coordination and body expression in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

Group 6 to 12 years old – Introduction

Children discover the fundamental movements of hip-hop through fun exercises, age-appropriate choreography and rhythm games that encourage self-confidence, creativity and team spirit.

Group 12 to 18 years old and over – Discovery and advanced training

Teenagers and adults explore different hip-hop techniques and styles, working on interpretation, musicality and choreographic creation. The sessions allow everyone to progress at their own pace while sharing a collective artistic practice.

Children’s Yoga (4 to 6 years old)

Annual introductory workshop

Through games, stories, movement and breathing, this annual workshop introduces children to yoga in a fun way adapted to their age. The sessions help develop motor skills, balance, concentration and body awareness in a reassuring and supportive environment.

Children explore different postures inspired by nature and animals, learn to better manage their emotions and relax while having fun. The activities also encourage self-confidence, listening to others and respecting everyone’s own pace.

A special moment to grow, flourish and nurture well-being throughout the year at the Centre d’Animation.

Adult Yoga

All levels

This annual yoga workshop is open to all adults, from beginners to experienced practitioners, who wish to take time for themselves through gentle physical activity and well-being. The sessions offer progressive work on postures, breathing and relaxation, while respecting each person’s abilities and individual pace.

Practising yoga helps improve flexibility, balance, muscle strengthening and posture, while promoting relaxation, concentration and stress management. Each class is designed to offer a moment of recentring and well-being accessible to everyone.

In a friendly and supportive atmosphere, this workshop guides participants throughout the year towards a better understanding of their body and lasting physical and mental balance.

Sophrology

Young people/Adults – All levels

This annual sophrology workshop is aimed at anyone wishing to improve their everyday well-being and learn how to better manage stress, emotions, minor aches and the tensions of daily life. Open to everyone, with no prerequisites, it offers a progressive introduction to dynamic relaxation, breathing and positive visualisation techniques.

Over the course of the sessions, participants develop greater body awareness, strengthen their ability to relax and concentrate, and acquire simple tools they can reuse in their personal and professional lives.

In a calm and supportive atmosphere, this sophrology workshop in Caen offers a space to recharge, promoting balance, self-confidence and lasting well-being throughout the year.

Pilates Workshop


Want to move, strengthen your body and feel good? This Pilates workshop in Caen is open to young people and adults, whether you are a beginner or already practising.

In a friendly and dynamic atmosphere, the sessions combine deep muscle strengthening, posture work, flexibility and breathing. Everyone progresses at their own pace through exercises adapted to their level.
